Newbie ? on MPG

What is everybodys average miles per tank and per gallon?

I haven't picked up an EVO yet but insurance wise, it is cheaper than the 350Z and Acura TL. Just wanted to see how the mpg was. My work place is 60 miles one way.

I get about 20mpg with a daily commute of 15 miles each way on the highway. I do plenty of boosting all over the place, but tend to cruise at a steady MPH on the highway. Many people claim 22-24mpg, but I only get that if I spend the entire tank cruising at 65 without ever boosting.

I commute 100 miles daily. I boost quite a bit too. normally get between 19-22MPG. if I drive at 70 MPH, all the time and stay out of the throttle I can get 280 miles on a tank. Lets just say that has happened about once though.

Good idea. Get a Civic for the long ride to work, and drive the Evo on the weekends/days off.

I just got 306 miles on a topped off tank of fuel. Some boosting on the freeway in 5th gear. I almost got 14 gallons into the past tank.

U must have a "special" evo to get 306/tank. I'm lucky to get 240 before the light comes on. Highway miles at that.

How many gallons do we have left after the light comes on?

That's what I'm saying. My previous high was 260 miles. That was when I was boosting only 13 psi, and drove on the highway for 180 miles.

No, it's called "driving like a grandma" to see how many miles it will go. No boost, 60mph to and from work. I can "top off" the tank all the way up through the filler neck. I am trying to dupilcate it again now. I have 68 miles and the needle hasn't moved yet. It's still above the "full" line.

with mostly highway driving at 80mph I've gotten between 250-260mile per tank. in the city I can barely get to 220 before the light comes on.
