I got a black evo IX last friday..man this thing is fast...but of course, its my nature to mod it but I was wondering...will the mods void the warranty? I've heard different stories. One guy said that simply putting a mod will void the entire warranty, while another dude told me that if I change the exhaust or something, that specific part only wont be covered in the warranty. I'm confused..someone help?!!!1

Thanks

Please search. This topic has been covered more times than I can count.

Also, do a Google search for the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. Once you read that, you know what your rights are, but Mitsu doesn't always honor this Act.

The best answer to your question is...it depends on the dealer.
