I just got a White 2003 Evolution from an auction here in miami. Its in the shop doing some body work. Its had roof damage and and the 2 doors on the pasanger side had to be replaced. The car has 16,000 miles and starts right up. The Evo only cost me 10000 fixed and out the door.

1. I have like $1000 dollars to spend off the bat. I was looking to put an exhaust just the can and have the piping made. Is that good or bad? or should i buy a full system. And what do u think is the best system? RESONABLE PRICE

2. On a Evo do u have to change the up pipe, or is it like a STI where it comes big enough already.

3. The second thing i want to buy is cams. Is that a smart choice or is it out of my budget. Or is there something else i can buy for the money.

4. The last thing is a utec? would this elimiate tuning or is it still neccesary.

Also i know that turbo cars need to be tuned after upgrades. If i put exhaust and cams would that require a tune. Or can i run the car as is.

ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME SORRY FOR THE LENGTHY POST!!

No the evo is built for boost. Just buy a boost controller and you can easily boost 35psi. how do you think the black evo from florida is as fast as it is?

well if you dont fel like searching heres a good starter get a new clutch if the stocker is still in cause i spent like $1000 on my evo and then from the added hp the clutch went in like 5 days. Then i had to spend more money to buy a new clutch. so im just givin u a heads up cause i dont want you to make the same mistake i made by spend al ur money then you needin more because you car wont move

Yes if you get Injen pipe ,you do gain like 16HP

If you get cam get the 264 / 272 so they will be mild but still give you big hp
