I have an eagle talon esi, and was wondering how possible it is to drop a lancer evolution turbo engine into my talon. This might be a dumb question, but this is in the "newb" threads.

 

To my knowledge, a lancer evolution 1,2,3 engine should bolt right into your car, but you'll need some things to accomidate a turbo, but don't ask me. I would say its quite possible, but those engines are quite expensive, I would just swap over to the turbo eclipse motor and make a few tweaks, possibly saving you money.

Well, the evolution motor is mounted the opposite way than the DSM's. Idk if anyone makes motor mounts to let you bolt it in. Wish I had more info to share with you.
