Wart, you are a pretty rude guy and I get this feeling (even though I don’t know you) this is a dilemma that has become so common for you that it has evolved into a habitual disposition that has inched into your system like a virus castrating your sense of humility drowning your ability to recognize this plague-like characteristic that unknowing to its prey is about to devour it.

In response to your advances, you are more then welcome to entertain me with your accomplishments all day (which is quite trivial/silly) despite the efforts I exhausted attempting to reassure your over-the-top egotistical responses that involved expressing your distaste in my simple inquiry that you assumed contested your evo-prowess; where my simple inquiry was nothing more then that, ie a simple inquiry, asking you “why do you claim the 6sp ix mr is very valuable on a road coarse”? Which is nothing more then a simple/innocent question I asked you based on the claim you declared to which you initially hadn’t provided a reason for.

So go ahead and attempt to belittle me, but if it were my choice (only comparing the evo ix models) I would opt for the ix/rs and invest the 5-7k I save into the car and have one hellova blisteringly pristine road coarse racing machine.

I've had lots of domestic rides. The closest thing to an Evo would be that I've had 4 GMC Syclones. I'm currently driving an 06 Corvette Z06 and have had quite a few vettes. My current project is a 2001 Z06. I built a Stroker LS2 402 CID for it and am installing Twin 57mm turbos. I put a custom paint job on the car myself but will repaint the entire car once I install the wide body kit.

I test drove the 03 Evo today. It had a cold air kit and exhaust on it. Man did that thing spool fast. I think I'm sold and will give up my LS6 S10 project and just play with this car.

This is ridiculous…and rude behavior. I asked him a simple/innocent question. Its that simple. He made a claim on the first page about the 6sp ix mr being very valuable on a road course. I wasn’t sure why he made that claim because he provided no reason backing up that claim so I just wanted to know why he said that? Then the next thing I know he goes off on me trying to belittle me. This is pretty sad and pathetic, especially coming from a person who makes an effort to flash his accomplishments around as if to say we need to shut up and kneel before him.

Side note to PERFORMINORMAN: I want to apologize for polluting your thread in this manner. It was never my intention for this to happen. I hope the explanation I provided in the former paragraph helps…although, ive repeated that explanation several times in the previous posts but this wart person continues to be rude.

After reading everything, warr answered your question and he did not go off on you...trust me he did not go off on you. No one is ganging up on you, you made this into a stupid arguement after he answered your question, warr backed up his reasoning you have not done anything but say why have you not answered " my innocent question". Yeah, really, I've answered his probing questions multiple times, yet all he does is continually come back and talk about being rude while continually misusing my name on purpose. I didn't see him back up HIS CLAIM that the MR was not good for road racing, yet he's so gung-ho about me backing up MY claim. I actually own an MR and race it constantly - he has only "heard" what others have said. He doesn't make any sense whatsoever...

 

tracker, you have come off as being rude and a complete *** during this whole thread, yet you try roasting warrtalon becuase you feel as if he has done the same to you. It's not a popularity contest....you're just being a dick. Warrtalon can come off pretty strong sometimes, but he also provides valuable info to the forum. Please show us where you have done the same.

Theres no need for you to try and show me that wart (im abbreviating your name because that’s just what I do sometimes when I don’t feel like typing someones entire sn) comes off aggressive because it seems like im not the only one who feels that way…I just joined this forum and youre the second person who has told me that (I have a feeling theres more people who have experienced what I experienced here).

As for wart, I don’t know what else to say…I dunno, maybe youre really a nice guy or maybe you really are the guy that i explained earlier…really aggressive as they’ve described. Maybe things of this nature are expected from online chatting. Either way I wish you my best.
