This info is great as my car seats at the dealership waiting for approval of warranty service.

I'm trying to convince the service manager that the hole on the engine block was not caused by the action of removing the exhaust manifold for inspection of damages.

Anyway, this thread gives more resources to go after the dealer, I tried to use the toll free number on the owner's manual but it was no help, they said the dealer has the final word.

I'm waiting for a district manager to make a decision on Friday!

Tell them the law, and that they can't void your warranty. print the post. or print what SEMA.com has.

Haze, you can try another dealership if there's another nearby. Your dealership should have done what BL's did and checked with Mitsubishi before accepting or rejecting service. If Mitsubishi declines then the dealership declines. If they accept then they get paid from the manufacturer instead of your pocket. Seems they're out to lighten your load.
