I am getting a 06 EVO IX's right tail light and a 05 EVO VIII's right tail light....to swap out my 03 chrome's
um.....are the the same? are they both black housing?? not talking about the MR. Anyone know please let me know, or post the comparsion picture will be much apperciate. Much thanks

 

they arent the same, all the USDM evo 8's (03-05) had the chrome housing and the clear blinker. All of the JDM lights have orange blinkers. The 9's all have the black housing, still with the clear blinker.

oh heck, that's hell a good idea, i should custom that on my evo.. two taillights face the direction~~ you're damn smart

I havent done it myself but I heard that you can paint them pretty easily. There is a "how to" section here and there is instructions for both the headlights and tail lights. Good luck.
