Question about evo motor...
since this is a newb forum, i thought it would be all right to ask this question. I am confused as to how the intake and the intercooler are connected, if they are at all and how that runs into the actual turbo set up.
YEA... i have an 05 evo VIII, nothin done to it, have some ideas, and some questions. appreciate any input

ok here we go...
the intake is connected to the turbo inlet for the air to be compressed then..
the air is sent out the back of the turbo into the intercooler through the lower intercooler pipe on the passenger side of the car then...
the air goes through the intercooler to the upper intercooler pipe which connects to the throttle body and intake manifold on the engine which is on the drivers side.
basicall the air passes from right to left through the turbo and then left to right through the intercooler when looking at the car from the front
