You can get a flame shooting kit from one of those ebay vendors.

This is hardly a reason to want a car.

So is shooting flames actually sought after? I personally would think it a bad thing...

How can you get rich enough conditions to shoot a flame with a bov with recirc. Can Someone tell me. I want to make a quick video clip of my car. I have the invidia n1 turbo back with a test pipe. I also have the hks ssqv recirc. How can I shoot flames? I take it to the rev limitter, than let go of the gas completely but nothing happens.

Well you'd need to tune it to be rich, which is a lot of hassle considering you could just make the BOV VTA temporarily for your video.

running rich won't hurt the engine, just won't run too well

I was running an untuned setup with 3" TBE including cat-delete pipe and SSQV VTA and never shot flames that I was aware of. My bro had a heavily modded STi and could shoot flames like it was his job. He was also recirculating. The car would "pop" like it was back-firing. Mine does that on a rare occasion, but no flamage as far as I know. I would think that the above setup is not a guaranteed flame shooter. Besides, that's a little too much for me.

^^Nice....But back on topic. Perhaps I missed something, but you actually want the car to shoot flames? Any particular reason for this? I don't mean to bash, but what's wrong with running the car as it should be run i.e.: no flames shooting out of the back? Or is this an appearance thing, like you want to run down the street with fire coming out of the back of your car? I just don't get it, i guess.
