Quote: Im ready to buy my evo finally! I want a Rally Red EVO IX with SSL... and ofcourse there isnt one available.... so i asked if they could order one for me but the bastards dont want to. to me, if im going to pay 34k+ for a car that i could potentially have for many years (thx to the long warranty) i want it a color that im going to enjoy.

Central Ave Nissan in Westchester NY

has anyone else had any trouble getting a specific color ordered?
What did they say specifically?

Good luck, those people are a joke. I would try White Plains Mitsu before them any day. I live about two minutes away from Central Ave Mitsu. That's where my friend went to trade in his spec for his evo he has now, and got a great deal. If you don't know where it is it's by the white plains county center, turn onto tarrytown road follow it straight, you'll see it on your left, across the street from the plaza.

why can't you just get your butt into your car and go to some other dealer and ask?. stop being lazy, if you want the car do something about it. I did, I drove from NY to NJ and got what i want.

A shipping co. will

Mark will drive it to the terminal in CA, about 30 miles from the dealer, then you'll pick it up from a terminal by you 2 weeks later, if you want to pay another $300 they will do door to door.
my car arrived from CA to NJ with 36 miles on it, and 3k cheaper (shipped) than my local dealer

Hey i work for a dealership and they get so many allocated to them per year these cars arent like a domestic that can be ordered and you get in a few weeks. only so many of that model will be made and brought over your best bet is to ask them to do a dealer trade if you really want that car...know that this is gonna cost you extra depending on where they can find the car.....try california i hear they have a huge dealer there with oodles of evolutions...good luck on your hunt

You can't order a domestic and get it in a few weeks.
