now thats just plain cruel... but then again, having to read yet another blow off valve as a first mod post could be considered cruel and unusal punishment

Give us all some more info. What year car, what you plan to do with the car, how far you want to mod it etc. If you don't plan on doing serious modding and want to keep it stock for the most part, you can do an intake, MBC and TBE with a reflash/tune.

Good for over 300WHP.

The other thing i have learned is, the brakes aren't the greatest. The calipers are great, just need some new pads and rotors.

That's pretty much my list of mods to my car for this season, but as my warranty runs out, i will plan on doing more.

EDIT: And like the other guys were saying, if you have a IX, the new BOV is aluminum and not plastic like the rest. Before the nine, they would leak at 13psi and you most def. should upgrade that to a forge or JDM MR bov.

That sound is the MAF sensor and ECU crying from all that missing air the BOV just dumped to atmosphere.

Damn you guys are brutal! If I were you I would go this route:

1. Full TurboBack ( Downpipe, CatDelete, CatBack)
2. Boost Gauge
3. Manual Boost Controller
4. Fuel Pump
5. Flash

This route is a good start. Good luck.

actually the best mod would be to take the circle looking like thing that looks like a slug and replace it with a straight pipe that way the air doesn't have to slow down through the fins of the circle thing that would make your car much faster and lighter too

If I were you I would go with an Injen intake. They have been proven to make good power because of the upper intercooler pipe and it will make your bov sound louder too. It was one of my first mods and it made a big difference in power.
