I am looking at buying a Evo VIII GSR! And I was just wondering the GSR is one of the best types of evos to have, right?

 

all evos are pretty much the same, except for minor differences, its not like the difference between a civic and civic si or integra ls and integra gsr

 

so in performance, they are all basically the same?

Well, I have the same question, but as far as problems go, (i.e. no drifting in anything older than 2005 because that hurts the diff.) and little quirks like that only Evo owners would know about through experience.

basically, the same yes

they all have the same engine and hp numbers within the same year. and same brakes,

mr has bilstein suspension, and 6spd trans,

rs has no power windows, no radio, no abs to lighten the car.

turbos are slightly different from year to year
03/04 have 9.8 hotside
05 has 10.5 hotside
evo ix has a new turbo and mivec
