I have no button above mine, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

 

it's for the intercooler sprayer on the 03/04's

 

you maybe referring to the intercooler sprayer button. it switches the spray mode form auto to manual. it's near the cup holders and the e-brake.

your acd removes the entire sprayer system so there is no need for the button

yeah when i bought mine...i asked about the sprayer...techs said its not needed really just to spray some water on the intercooler? it a nice add on but not needed....ACD IS DEFINATLY NEEDED...as said before yeah they needed room for the acd reserve so...they kicked the sprayer out....id take the acd over water ic sprayer anyday

my 'auto' mode doesn't work. Or rather it has stopped working since I'm on #8 plugs.

 

I suppose if you rally or do some sort of endurance race it starts to become a factor.
