Quitest freest flowing exuast

Alright guys heres my dilema.... i bought my evo for a daily driver and as soon i got it i planned to go with a turbo back, but i drove it for a few days and became to love the quitness of the car (my other car is a Trans am and is ridiculously loud) but on the other hand i want to make around 300whp.... so i need some suggestions on exuast options.. im on the highway alot cruising from 3000-3500 in 5th and dont wanna hear the exuast all the time.. i need the quitest and pretty decent flowing catback, what do you guys suggest

i like the vishnu dumpback exhaust its only loud when you get on it otherwise daily crusing very quiet quite costly unless you buy the package

Do you mean the standard? You must have the old taipan exhaust if it's really quiet.

I think pretty much anything with good flow is going to be louder. I have the buschur tbe with hf cat and bullet muffler while definitely being louder than stock,a nice deep sounding louder(not raspy) its pretty tame noise wise and has very little drone cruising at low rpms. Liveable for daily driving while still awesome power. Perfect fit too btw.

greddy evo 2 [3 inches]
vishnu catback [3 inches]
fijubitsu (sp?) [Is not a full 3 inches, tapers down to 2.75]

The sound levels are usually pretty loud once you remove your cat, so if you want to keep the sound levels down on the highway just keep the stock cat but get an aftermarket dp + catback.

If you have an IX all you need is a boost gauge, mbc and reflash and you should be close to 300whp...

The canister style has a good impact on the sound, try and stay away from round type canisters as they tend to be pretty loud...

Turboxs is not quiet...

The fujitsubo is one of the most quiet exhausts out there, that is what I will be going with when I get a TBE. From everyone I have spoken too the fujitsubo is top notch quality
