He should just say gangsta style seats.

Can't you just get a custom railing to make your seat seem lower? Would be the cheapest way.

I would love to sit a bit lower.

How did you lower your (stock?) seat?

Lowering the seat would give me a bit more room for the helmet at the track-plus the seating position has always felt high to me.
Thanks

Johannes

Yes there is a way to lower your seats, and this was just discussed within the last week. SEARCH.

There are low seat rails that you can get from a vendor on here, Memory Fab I think. Probably gonna do it when I get some new seats.

bushcur racing was selling a bracket that fits the factory seat and lowers is by almost 2 inches.

i'm gonna pick one of those up soon. i'm 6'3" and would like to be able to sit a little closer to the wheel anda little straighter up without having my forehead against the sun visor.

I'm seriously considering lowered rails as well. I'm 6'2 and the stock seat just sits too high for my tastes.

I lowered my seat (you cut the seat mounts in two place and extend the mount that bolts under the center console if I remember right). It was really easy and I really like the lowered position. I'm only 5'11".

Then I dropped a RaceTech in there with a custom bracket. I basically mounted the front of the seat on the floor and the rear off the floor by about an inch.

It is really nice on the track. It forces your eyes to naturally look down the track. You don't even have to think about it. The F1 cars are so low the average driver can't see pavement for 55 feet.
