Will I still be able to get a new RS in Aug of 07? Thats when I'll have my money.

 

most likely you will get a deal at that time of the year. i got my 05 rs in august 05

 

Doubtful for August of 07, All the IX's should be gone long before then. Maybe august of 06.

 

i would say not. our mitsu rep told us there will 18 months of no evo's.

 

No way. Very doubtful. I say by June 07 they are all gone.

 

If the X is coming out Feb. 08, then why will the RS' be gone? How long will the IX's last?

 

Ive been having trouble locating a 06 white RS. I really want one but I cannot find one without it being shipped. I have to see a car before I buy it! I cant put money down on something I have not looked at. If anyone has any info on where I can buy a new 06 white RS please let me know, I would really appreciate it. I live in Buffalo Grove Illinois. Thanks

 

The RS is the most limited of the EVO models, so I doubt you'll find a brand new one by Audust 2007, more likely going to have to get a used one, but that will be hard also.

 

That's kind of silly. I had my RS shipped in and took it off the truck with 4 miles. If there is a problem with the car you don't have to take it.

 

Ok first off, no Mitsu dealership will ever entertain a request to take the car and have it looked at, not an EVO and NOT a brand new one... it will be sleeting in hell before that will go down and especially without money down. You need to wake up and smell the chicken, if the car has 4 miles on it... or brand new mileage then umm yeah.

 

For just a neon, stay in touch with your dealer. If you have a decent relationship, they can get you one before they are all gone, but who knows about that exact date.

+1 I can tell you what it will look like if you order one: a brand new RS. If you are ordering a brand new car, it's not like they are going to put some used vehicle on the truck and ship it to you. And if it were used or had some slight damage, you could back out of the deal or have Mitsu fix the damage for free. I mean, if that is the car you want, why would you be afraid to order a BRAND NEW one? Also, you may not have to put money down if you sign a purchase agreement. That was the case with me anyway. I got a decent price and a VIN, and I locked it up. Paid for it the day it arrived.

 

Why the **** are you bashing me for wanting to look at a $30,000 car before i purchase it. Have you seen cars at dealerships? Some are all scratched up from people test driving them and some if they are in the showroom are terribled beat up from all the people getting in and out of them. Thats great if you want to buy your car all messed up!

 

I agree 100%. If I can't see, touch, and taste it I don't buy it. I worked at a dealership and can tell you I saw some scary ****.

 

I know what you mean, but you spell out in the buy order under 10 miles, perfect condition... We all know what they look like and feel like

I wanted another white rs and I wasn't about to wait around while I could just order one.
