Well I have been viewing the site for sometime now and I just decided to join. Bought my evo 6 months ago, and have nothing but problems and constant long periods in the shop. Have had the evo in my posession for a long enough now to actually realize I own one so decided to join the site finally. Hello everyone I have evo 8 with ssl, bone stock. Not sure if I should mod it or not with all the problems I have been having with it. Debating on maybe waiting for settlement and getting another one or using money to mod. Its also making a weird tranney noise on light downshifting, like a whine, is that normal. I currently have a law suit with the car, and lawyer said I might get a cash settlement. Anyone with reliabuilty issues, that had to take legal action. Any advice appreciated.

But as far as I guaged. Whining is normal under certain circumstances, search for more details.

You said uve got problems with it, I assume you bought it new, so you may have a lemon.

If you can win teh case, i wouldnt hesitate to tell u to get another evo.
