New To The Evo Community Need Help..
He Guys just bought a 06 Evo IX a few days ago and I want to get started right away on mods but I am not sure where to start: I am really looking to get the car as quick as possible without breaking the bank. Here's what I am thinking, please let me know if I am on the right track.
Boost Controller ( How Much Boost Can My Turbo Handle )
Blow Off Valve
Turbo Back Exhaust / Downpipe
Intake
Hard Pipes
Dyno Tune
Do you think this will work and who's products should I go with. Thanks guys, I did try to do a search but I couldn't find the answers I was looking for.

You dont need a blow off valve. You dont need an intake. Buschur/Warrtalon have a good package for the IX, I think its 1275$ or so. Should put you over 300 WHP no problem. Im sure Warr will chime in with the appropriate numbers/figures.
I'd also recommend waiting a few thousand miles (if you havent already), just to make sure there isnt anything seriously wrong with the car. Just my 2 cents.
Congrats on the new car, I'm sure you'll love it.
PS. Run a search (might as well say it before someone else does).
*And I know I have an intake on my car, but I got it cheap with the hard pipe kit (tuned as well). And the stock VIII bov was leaking.

Yeah, you definitely need to search before asking questions like this. I recommend starting with the package in my sig. It saves you money while giving you only the mods you really need. You don't need an intake, you already have a very strong BOV, and hard pipes really do nothing. Lastly, you probably need to learn what the phrase "dyno tune" means. You don't actually get tuned by a dyno, and to get tuned, it doesn't have to be on a dyno. You CAN get tuned on a dyno by any tuning device (flash, piggyback, standalone), but there is no such thing as a "dyno tune" in and of itself.
Ok, as far as a search I did do a search and couldn't come up with what I was looking for. As far as there is no such thing as a dyno tune I was letting you know how the car was going to be tuned, I am going to tune it on a dynojet. Yes a tune is a tune whether it is done by dyno, street, mail in, or hand held programmer, but there is several different ways to tune a car..
Yes, but the dyno doesn't tune you, so it's not worth mentioning. You get tuned by the tuning device/method and the person doing the tuning. Dynojet's are not good for tuning, because they are not load-bearing, so the tune changes when you hit the street. Some people like Dynoflash have it figured out from tons of experience so that the tune is proper on the street, but you can't really rely on the Dynojet. That's mostly a waste of money vs a regular road tune.
I'm sure a search would have easily found what you were looking for, but I doubt you tried hard. The questions you asked have been answered more times than I can count.

Ok, did some research and came up with a list would like opinions:
Perrin Turbo Back Exhaust, HKS RS Intake, APS Blowoff Valve, Perrin MBC, HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer, Autometer Boost/Vac Guage, and once all installed a tune..
Ok, Let me know what you think, will it work?? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it will work, but you will be wasting money unnecessarily. If that's what you want to do, then go for it. Whatever you decide, could you please tell me where in the WORLD you came up with the Perrin as your TBE choice? I just can't figure out where people are finding it when Perrin does not participate in the Evo community, doesn't advertise, isn't used by the fastest Evos, and generally is nothing special. What made you mention that? The HKS RS intake is one of the top intakes, but it's a lot of money for a lot of noise - more power can be made elsewhere for the money. The BOV is completely asinine, since your stocker is already awesome, so spending $230 for one that partially vents to atmosphere would be like replacing your awesome turbo with one from a previous year. Perrin MBC? Again, why in the world would you pick Perrin - where are you even seeing Perrin mentioned by people with IXs? The undisputed leaders are the Forge UNOS and Hallman Pro. Turbo timer is not needed; boost gauge is fine.
I still recommend my package to get you 330-340whp for $1270, including shipping and tuning.

The guys at JSCSpeed recommended that I go with Perrin because in there opinion they are the best out there right now. Again I am brand new to the EVO and I am looking for all the help I can get to get my car running strong and right. I appreciate all your input. But again I am just going by what I am told, I have no clue who makes the best product and produces the most gain for my car yet.
Thanks, Again.
Thanks, Again.
Oh, well I don't recommend talking to JSCSpeed again then. No idea where in the world they'd come up with that opinion when hardly anyone uses Perrin stuff on Evos.
You would have a clue if you'd listen to me and do some searching. I'm not just making things up here. I've gone extremely fast with the mods I recommend, and there are IXs out there with my package running 12-flat all day with less than $1500 spent.
