chp and whp

anyone know if you have 300whp how much chp you have? or if there is an equation to whp to chp or whatever. thanks.

Really going to depend on the dyno that you're using, the conditions and the drivetrain itself from car to car, and even the mods that you have. Approx say 12% loss thru the drive train (I've heard other numbers anywhere from 10-15%, even up to 18%) so definitely depends on the dyno, the car and conditions.... Quick off the head approximation.... 300chp might be around be around 255-260WHP

Yeah I heard, dont quote me on this, that for stick it's 10-15 and for auto it's 15-20 %

not sure about the FWD or RWD and AWD and how much they loose.

Example, a FWD Honda accord (almost ALL honda accords) with 200CHP automatic tranny equals to about 160-165WHP.

15-20 % sounds reasonable to me for an awd car. or a 2wd car with an auto trans
