In the market for new EVO.
Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum, so I just wanna say Hi to everyone. I'm in the market for a new Mitsu EVO. My dilemma is whether to get the 2006 Evo MR, or just wait and see what the 2007 model is like. I've heard some great stuff from a few dealers in regards to the new line, including up to 45 more bhp. I currently own an Audi with the DSG transmission, and if you haven't driven one, it really is all that they say it is. I used to be strictly a MT guy, until my recent experience. Transmissions aside, what are some thoughts on this topic? I know I would absolutely love the 2006, but I don't want to miss out on an amazing car in the 2007.Mitsubishi knows what they are doing in the world of performance, and I don't think they would take a step backwards. Thanks !

Well the EVO IX is an absolutely great car and I am sure you would absolutely love it, but there is no problem in waiting to see what the X will offer, I mean you have a very nice A3 and I am sure that that can hold you over until you see what the future entails. Also more info should be out about the X in the near future, so you should have more info to make a decision. The X is going to be a 2008 model I believe, and there will be no 2007 EVO, although I believe some models like the EVO IX SE will just be carry overs, so I believe you will have time to wait and still buy a brand new EVO IX if it turns out in the future that you prefer the IX over the X.
