I'm new here

Hello Everyone,

I'll try to introduce myself in my best english

My name is Ben, and i'l from Belgium (Antwerp).I'm 25 years old and i'm working as a captain on a tugboat in the harbor of Antwerp.
For people that don't know what a tugboat is, this is a picture of the tug i'm working on : Tugboat. I don't think you can get as much HP out of an evo, like there are in the tug (6000hp)

Well now on-topic :

In a couple of days (13-07) i'm going to testdrive an EVO IX, and i'm going to order one in T70 Electric Blue.
My previous car was a VW Bora (Jetta in US) 4-motion 150hp, but i sold it to buy myself an evo.

Before i go and order the car i would like to ask some questions in here.

Here they come :

1) - I've searched on this forum for some topics about xenon headlights, and i found some topics though But as what i can make up about it, there are evo's with standard xenon headlights build in and not with an aftermarket xenon set.
I've asked my dealer if the evo comes with xenon, but he told me that doesn't exist on an evo So could you guys tell me if i can get factory fitted xenon headlights on my evo, or do i need to place an aftermarket set?
If i need to place an aftermarket set, what firment do i need for the low beams, high beams, and foglights(are foglights optional or standard?)?
I'm planning to repace them all in xenon.

2) - In the US you guys have side marker lights on the bumpers (red in the back, and orange in the front), but in Europe the cars haven't got that.Is there a way to build in those lights after i purshased the cars in exactly the same way?So i mean mount them in the bumper and not on the bumper, so the surface stays clean.

That were all the questions for now, but if i have any more questions i will let you know

Sorry again for my (maybe) rubish english, but i hope you'll understand what i'm trying to say.

Grtz

Ben

Welcome
?#1. We-USA- get the MR model which comes with the xenon lights. I am not sure if you get this model or not but there are posts in the "HOW-TO" section on how to fit xenon lights into your car. Good luck.

Hi,

yes i found that post allready, but that is for mounting an aftermarket xenon-kit into the halogen headunits.
I'm searching for original HID units with the fogs
