Jun BL or HKS Carbon TI
Chadb, I sent you couple IMs for the last couple days about my exhaust. You never get back to me, what gives? Did it ship or what? Why haven't you answered any of my IMs?

Jun BL is a 3 in they claim, but it necks from a 3in to a 2.5 in adpt to the stock cat.
+ Clamps are nice touch, very easy to install, however im a skeptic when i comes to the quality on the seal. I Sense exhuast leak!
Hks Carbon Ti 2.75 piping is mint, Looks nasty sounds Great, 1st class product and not tooo loud.
Hks/RNR Carbon Ti. Full 3in piping. Passes Als Beer can test. Quality of down pipe and cat delete or Amazing. BUT cat back bends are not to great, i have heard some serious Issues with these exhuast, however i am currently sporting on on my car If i could do it again, I would have went All Megan im convinced that for the money 350 shipped!!!! that you cant go wrong, still has burnt tip. For quality, I would have went BR. For Wieght i would have went with Greddy Ti Nastyyy Exhuast LOUD as ever though!

Not to knock you or anything but you are incorrect on the functionality/fitment / quality and everything about the jun bl exhaust. I understand your incorrect comments not knowing/seeing the exhaust in person or knowing how v-bands work. I only speak on what i know ( i have had many different exhausts on my cars as well as customers cars ). The exhaust can be setup to taper or not in a matter of seconds and the comment of exhaust leak is funny. Mechanical flanges (ie v-bands) are THE best design and last forever as there is nothing to leak or degrade/ruin over time. There is a reason people spend $40+ per junction (3 pieces into a v-band).
I have owned the hks carbon ti and i would be willing to put money on the fact that this unit out preforms it simply cause the carbon ti necks down. Additionally, this systems quality is better ,fitment is top notch and sound is amazing...not to mention the fact that its so easy to use and a amazing /rediculous price right now. Again just to make myself clear you can set this exhaust up 2.5 inch inlet for stock cat or 3 inch inlet for use with any aftermarket test pipe or cat that uses the stock bolt design or V-band the test pipe on and have the standard two bolt infront of that and have full 3 inch again.

You might want to follow your own advice and do some more research. From an engineering standpoint, for the price nothing beats the JunBL, and that is the truth. Im unbiased, I do not sell those exhausts or anything else; working as an engineer in the steal industry though I know a thing or two about quality construction and welds.
Actually the fact alone that you would recommend a Megan exhaust over JunBL shows your lack of knowledge on the situation. But hey, dont take my word on it. Go find David Buschurs comments on the JunBL exhaust. Maybe that will lend more credibility.

From an engineering standpoint, other than the VBand design, what is better about the Jun BL catback than the Megan Racing catback? Thanks

Smaller less important items are obvious as well. Look at your attachment points for the hangers. The JunBL system used hollow tube type (think OEM but hollow and lighter) hangers, while the Megan welds a piece of bar stock on there and drills a hole. Little things maybe in your mind, but it was the little things that mattered to me.
