Neep opinions quick!! 04 RS or 03 GSR??

I am torn between these 3 cars....here they are:

2004 RR evo RS. upgraded brake rotors, lines, and pads. a few extras like OE fluids and such. has 8K miles on it asking $20,000!

2004 WW RS with 264 cams,TBE,k-sport coilovers, extra set of MR wheels, 3 Greddy guages in radio location, sway bar, tune, clear bra, alpine cd with infinity speakers, car has 27,000 miles on it. $19000

OR

2003 Evo 8 GSR, 43,000 miles, silver, TBE, intake, ams flash and thats it for $20,000

The GSR is within a few hours of me and both of the RS's would have to be shipped. The red RS has super low miles and is in mint condition!
The white RS has many more extras that I would end up buying for the others down the road and is in very good condition.
On the other hand, the GSR has the 2 things I really want.....HID's and the wing, along with some sound deadening material and abs which dont mean anything to me. It has some curb rash on the wheels and some scratches here and there and spoiler is fading.

The car is going to be a daily driver that will drag race maybe a couple "fun nights" a month and a road race every year and thats it.
Opinions anyone? I do realize that it comes down to what I want and that an aftermarket HID kit and OE wing could be purchased, but soemtimes its nice to have other people's opinions cause they might point out some good and bad things that I may not have considered. Thanks!

frank

If you don't care about the ABS go for the RS. You can get the wing used for about 350 bucks.

How is the lighting on the RS? Can you actually tell much difference overall between your RS and GSR?

The rs sounds like a steal, I'm also debating between getting a 9 or wait for the 10.

Yea theres a big difference since Im in both almost every day. The HID's are a hell of alot brighter. But you could always get an aftermarket HID kit

RS if u can stand the roll down windows - but be ready for potential clutch, trans. issues - but i guess that could be with any pre-owned EVO.
you can always get a wing and HIDs for under $1K though.

what about the noise factor? I have a friend with a IX RS and it was fine....if the 04 is pretty much the same there shouldnt be any issues.

What I like about the one RS.....its white, I can add power windows and locks if I want, along with HID's and wing. I like not having the rear wiper, and like the aluminum roof and front LSD. I am a mechanic so no worries with the clutch.....I pretty much figured that into the price of any pre-owned evo I was considering!!

Her RS is def. noisier and harder over the bumps than my GSR. I kinda like the rawness of it though. You wont be dissapointed with it.

Cool, thanks for the info! I think I will go for the RS unless something changes.....it would be nice not to have to deal with the whole shipping issue, but the RS is a much better deal IMHO.

thanks for the help guys!

I was debating between a 03 GSR and a 04 RS myself.

I decided on the 03 GSR because I want ABS and power locks. I ride around with friends all the time so not having power locks would be a pain. Also I really like the HID's and wing.

The only thing that the 04 RS has that I want is the front diff, but I decided that I'm probably not a good enough driver to take advantage of that anyway

If the GSR was cheaper, I would probably be leaning toward it more, but its not and the extra mods already on the RS will help. I am sure it will cost much less to add HID's, a wing and power windows/locks if I ever want to, as opposed to adding the mods the RS has to the GSR!
