Evo Price Drop = Wishful Thinking?

Well from what I understand the Evo IX is coming to a close in production. Since Mitsu only seems to mention this car by a Freudian slip in efforts to sell Eclipse/Lancers/Galantes/etc it seems that outside of this group demand for this is in general low.

Would this mean that any dealership that will still have some of these in stock by lets say... ooh... October, will have a significantly reduced tag? Like for a IX with sunroof I'd just have to pay 1grand more then what one would pay for a Lancer Railart? (let me dream ok)

Or would there be a marked up premium for a nicely unique & cheap supercar that would be out of production for a year before the drastically different X's replace it?

Heh, very curious as to how they sell in the fall since they're highly ideal for the snow.

Hmmm...

C'mon cali/warm weather folks... save one for cold winter folks like me... get a badass rwd car instead huh?

Isn't the new SE that's being manufactured now going to MSRP for more than base GSR, MR? That's what I thought - that it was a packaged option that added to MSRP. There are already huge discounts from SC Mitsu, et al, and I'd expect those to continue, but they'll probably pass on the cost of the SE package, or part of it, so a net increase, I'd say...

I'd say the best discount that you'll be able to get is special financing rates. Who knows maybe they will do 0% again.

If you wait too long then you can only get what ever is out there and thats it and just like last year the harder they are to find the more money you are going to pay. Remember the MR's last year?
