For those of you that religiously change your synthetic oil at 3,000 miles because you are worried, send a sample to BlackStone-Labs next time you remove the oil. You will see the viscosity still around 97-99%, which means you are removing good oil. They rate synthetics at higher milage for a reason

Even the manual says to change your oil over 3000. I just bring it back in when my dealer tells me to; i'm done fighting the "best time to change oil" battle.

I just got a EcuTek flash on my stock Evo, it seems louder, and the overall feel of the car has changed dramaticaly.

Check this thread out for your 300 whp goal, https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ghlight=ecutek with a MBC and racegas you can exceed your expectations.

The noise, no, most at idle. The power delivery, yes WOT.

Yet the flash changes nothing in closed loop - it can't change the sound unless at WOT (open loop).

Yeah, i also thought it was weird my because my exhaust gets little puddles under it and lots more visual exhaust when warming up at idle.
