Ok i have a chance to get an evo 8 turbo for $200. I know i need alot more stuff but should i wait and buy rrms kit or go custom with the 16g? The most costly thing would be the custom flange for the manifold correct?

 

It would probably be cost-ineffective to try to bolt up your own twin scroll 16g. I'd go with a proven turbo kit like RRM's.

 

if you've got money and time, i'd say go for it and then post up the results for everyone. then again, i may have to agree with warrtalon because you dont know what kind of power you may be getting or how much money you'll end up spending down the line...
