New guy checking in....wanted to say hello to everyone. Although i dont have an EVO just yet, i'm looking to own one in the next year or two, preferrably a Gunmetal Gray MR. I do own a Silver 1998 C5 and a 2002 SOM WS6...both stock, both M6's and both with around 14k miles. My daily beater is a 1990 Ford SHO M5. Try not to flame me, as i do admire the EVO alot, and if it wasnt for finding the SOM WS6 last March, i wouldve had the black EVO VIII that I test drove. I had been looking for a SOM WS6 for 3 years with low miles, that's why i jumped on it. But i do love these cars, looking to learn as much as possible from being here on this site.

If you plan to buy new, this is the last year for the EVO IX. There will be no 2007 model, and the EVO X comes out in 2008.

 

Yea the dealer told me the same thing last week when i stopped in....not sure if i like the concept redesign-at least the front end. Hopefully the production will be a bit more refined. I'll probably end up going used.
