Need info about Stock Turbo

I looking about buy my bro an Evo and I want to know how much stock turbo can boost up to. And how fast the stock turbo can do on the 1/4 mile with mod and tune for a fully stock turbo can do.

basically almost 2 times what the stock STi runs.

The stock 16g turbo can actually be pushed pretty far. People are boosting safetly 22lbs on pump, and 24+ lbs on alky/meth injection. There are people in the 11's with the stock turbo and 400+hp.

Actually, the stock turbo is "out of breath" at 400 AWHP. you need lots of supporting mods to get there though!!

I am talking about an 03, I believe the IX has a 20G.

He didnt say if it's an 9 or an 8, i just went with the 8 because i know more about them . Yea, 400 is possible, but i wouldn't suggest it because it will wear the turbo out very quick.

8 is 16g and the 9 is a 16g6 (larger housing).

agreed.. idk bout the housing but i think its a larger compressor.
