I hope you're prepared for the virtual barage of people to flame you for not searching and for (I assume) thinking of venting to atmosphere.

TurboXs products are sub par in my opinion, and they offer mostly vent to atmosphere blow off valves for our application.

You're going to find a lot of members here parroting what others say about various blow off valves, but I urge you to do your own solid research.

If you have an evo IX then I urge you to stick with the stock diverter valve, if you have an VIII then I suggest looking into one of the more prominate diverter valves such as a stocker from a IX, JDM MR, Forge, or any other that will release metered air back into the intake.

Also, a blow off valve will not cause you to lose boost unless it is not functioning properly.

I would not recommend the Type H or Type H RFL valve for your car. The only valve that will allow your car to run well is the RBV-34 it is a full bypass valve and will not make anymore noise then stock.

TurboXS valves have always been great for us when used under the right application and used properly.

I think turboXS has gotten a bad name from rip off companies selling thier valves and people thinking they are actually turboXS originals.

I have also found people using thier HPBC are not adjusting them right is the reason those have gotten a bad reputation.

But people may think I am a little biased but I am just telling what I have seen come through the shop here.

Hi Ben, my name is Ben as well.

I think to confirm this you'll have to send a TurboXs unit that is 100% recirc that will hold 30psi, and I'll do some testing and tell you whether they're good or not ~_~

Ben is the coolest name ever right

30psi is alot of pressure but I am sure that the turboXS can handle it. We have customers running that amount on the RFL which is almost the same valve. You will probably need 6-8 or more washers but it will hold.

Wish I could send one out for testing but there is no way the boss would let me
