Seriously Considering...

Im seriously considering demanding another evo9mr. I've been having little problems here and there ever since mile 200, first washer fluid leaks, now the electrical is messed up and some buttons wont turn off. I think I was unlucky and received the bad apple in the basket, is this something the dealer would really do if I demand a new one and present all its problems?

Just keep taking it in and having them fix it. I dont know what the lemon law is exactly, but it has to be at the shop a lot, so who knows if they will swap it out. You could always try though.

Yeah, there is something called a "lemon law" and if one more thing goes wrong, and all 3 things are documented, you can legally request a new one.

Also, my car just recently started the windsheild wiper fluid leaking as well, how did they fix it?

I may be wrong but I think it's something like if you take it for the same reason 3 times within 6 months and it's not fixed.

the windshield wiper fluid tube came out of the T-fitting, they just had to put it back in. Today my brakes started squeaking too...and the button light still wont turn off.

The brakes squeeking is fairly normal, the windshield wiper tube coming off sounds like a fluke, I would be concerned about electrical problems though. Like others mentioned check up on your states lemon laws cause chances are no dealer (or Mitsu) in there right mind will give you a new evo just cause you've had some problems.

The brakes squeeking are normal as some one just said. I haven't had any problems with windshield fluid, so maybe your car is the problem. Exactly what electrical problems are you having? What buttons won't turn off?

Just remember to document everything that happened, the dates, what they did, and the results thereof.

the problem Im having is with the in-car ventilation button, I cant get that button to turn off and its pissing me off because if fogs the windshield sometimes if my windows arent opened. The dealer is 50 miles away, which sucks, because I already had to drive there to get my car back for the first problem. Im calling them tomorrow and talking to the sales person that sold it to me, Ill let him know Im kind of pissed. Should I mention anything about the lemon law?
