kbb.com or edmunds.com for invoice and msrp pricing info. The reg MR is going for $32999 so im guessing if they have the MR with the package this month, it will be $33400 or so. Good luck.

It's not a MR really...I talked to a salesman in san rafael and he said it's basically a gsr w/ aluminum roof/appearance package/mr bbs/HID/red stitching/ 5-speed

And as far as a guy walking through the car with you and letting you think about it good luck.....car salesman will try to get you to leave in it that day.

Not only that...if they know that you are not planning to buy that day....they would rather spend their time with someone that will buy that day.....personal experience....they will probably let you look at it and tell u to come back for a test drive when you have all the financials ready.

He is talking about the SE not the MR w/ appearance package those are two different cars right there

When people refer to the MR with AP as MR SE, it sounds to me like he wants the MR with AP. And they are damn near the same car. One has a VG, bilstiens and a 6 speed. Maybe he didnt know there were two different cars. And if business is slow for a dealership, they will let you test drive the car in an effort to get you to buy it. Not sure what dealerships you've been going to.

Are you looking at an MR or an SE? I don't think there is such a thing as an MR SE

the SE is pretty much all appearance items except for the aluminum roof and if you count the lightweight BBS'. no 6-speed or bilsteins. as far as what to get, it's up to you, it depends on your personal needs. if you plan on tracking the car, i'd go with the MR.

Its a long drive from Oxnard to just "look" at the car. If I were you I'd pm evolution_4_all and ask him what price he'll give you. Come down when youre ready IMO, they're essentially the same exact car.

As for which to get...If you feel that spending the extra $500-1000 on the appearance of the SE is worth it, go for it. I personally would buy the MR if I were not going to change suspension parts. Aluminum roof and 6 speed would only benefit the people that actually track the car IMO

There are some very good dealers that post on here. If you want a 6 speed get MR if you want a 5 speed with some nice extras get a SE. If you want one with all the regular options GSR. Track car RS.

Good luck with you decision.
