I've determined that the extra 7-8k for getting an MR is not worth it because the only thing I like out of the MR is the HID/BBS/power accessories.....

And after doing all the math I realized I could have an RS

+500 for used power stuff including door panels
+1000 for oem hid and housings

And I'd still have 5500 for some really nice aftermarket wheels and coilovers and TBE + FLASH

The only thing we really lose out on is the color choices....which is ok cuz WW is pretty pimp....my girl says red is too bright hahahaha

so 330whp/330wtq RS w/nice suspension and wheels > Stock MR

thanks all... to answer some questions... i'm getting white because red isn't available, but I don't really care much, since it's got the black handles and mirrors... i'm gonna find a spoiler and get the sides black... it'll sort of go along with the theme of it lol. It was 27,995... taxes, tags and such will come to about 29,5 or so.

Congrats on the new ride, man. I think the spoiler w/ black sides will look sweet.

Congrats!!

If the new Z06 is the "performance bargain of the century" then the RS has gotta be the "performance bargain of the millenium."

I love my RS too, such a great car for the price. Not having all the power stuff you get use to, atleast I did and it really isn't such a big deal. Even not having the spoiler starts to become less of an issue, infact (atleast in my case) I've grown to like my EVO with out the spoiler, although I wouldn't have a problem with having a spoiler either. Honestly the RS is just a great deal, the price of mine including taxes and titles (but not including my downpayment and trade in) was about $28,000. Such a great deal in my opinion.
