A rookie bov question

What bov can i use on my stock evo IX that wont harm my car? do they all require adjustments when putting them on a stock evo?

Put your flame suit on son, keep the stocker, unless you're running an AEM you dont need anything better.

Stick with the stock IX diverter. Holds boost like a champ.

If you want a bov just for the fun factor. Get a HKS bov. Works better on IX evo's than older models. I didnt have many complaints.

Unless you're running higher then stock boost pressures you're fine with the stocker probably. If you want the cool woosh noise you're going to get flamed here.

The woosh noise comes from venting to atmosphere and it normally makes your car run poor. Not so much in a performance aspect, but in an....idle quality, stalling out, and smelling like straight gasoline after every shift.

i think it is psssht hahah and KEEP YOUR STOCK DV and buy a buschur filter kit you will hear the stock one just fine.

hahah so if you just get an after market buschur filter kit... you can hear the "pssshhhht" sound with the stock DV?!?
