Dealers recieving IX SE's in southeast

I've been trying to fond a dealer that is going to be recieving any IX SE's in the FL/GA region and out of 6 different dealers that I've talked to, they don't even know what the hell it is. Does anyone know of any dealers down here that have ordered or that CAN have one drop shipped? I'm getting a bit frustrated when I have a check ready to turn over and I keep getting turned away by dealers that don't even know their cars.

Fans of the SE clearly like Pimp My Ride(The Red Stiching on the Recaro's.) and aesthetics moreso than horsepower. The SE should have at least come with like some Ralliart parts, maybe AYC, perhaps some performance changes. But come on, a black MR, OOOOO!?!! WOW. Diamond Black BBS rims which make it look like it has the silver rims from an SRT-4 ACR Edition. Most people with Evo's change the rims, change the front lip( I honestly don't like the SE lip ), Mitsubishi should have made it more worthwhile, I'd rather of there been a "super evo" for like $40,000 with maybe an Ralliart Exhaust, etc, even better suspension, COMPLETELY different seats (instead of red stitched seats with an orange emblem - ugly), something more like the TME, maybe a different turbo. Even better yet, an Evo 10 plat form in a 9 body would have been more "special edition" and I might've been enticed to go trade my 9 in for one. Nevertheless, I can just buy better seats, nicer rims and a carbon-lip (which wouldn't even go on the SE without removing its stock lip). Anyway, that's my .02.

You typed all that and still made no benefit to this thread? FYI, the reason I want the SE is because I want the aluminum roof and HID's and I want black. I also don't want to spend an additional $3k for the MR which comes with a 6 speed that has been showing signs of weekness and shocks that will be replaced with a nice set of coilovers eventually. The wheels are OKAY in diamond black as I have that finish currently on my wifes RG-R's, and I don't car much for the stitching or the lip, however I am getting an employee discount which means I won't be paying much more than $29k, so sure........I'll take it. Now if you're done expressing your relative opinion, do YOU know of any dealers in the SE recieving them? If not, please go cry in the merged thread.

The SE has an alu roof? Are you sure? I thought only the MR and RS did.

Thanks for expressing your opinion. I was basing mine on all ready having an Evo IX and trading for one - which I find ridiculous. If you don't have one and are in the market, that's different.

No hard feelings. I don't have one. I was originally in the market for an RS, hence the screen name but since then I have came across a deal I can't pass up so I'm going for something a little more.

Spectre- Yes, the SE comes with aluminum roof. Read mitsu's press release.
