I know my intakes sucks, need new one.

I have the ****ty *** K&N typhoon intake on my car. I know this is a terrible intake to get. I was looking around on the web and saw seom AEM short rams. Are these any good for our cars? I just bought the evo and I am still trying to learn about them. I dont have the stock piping so I am trying to just replace the entire intake. I had a AEM on my last mitsu and it worked great. One other quesiton, I am going to be buying a triple gauge pod here soon and I dont know what guages I can get without getting dif sensors. I was gonna get boost, vacuum and oil pressure. I am pretty sure that the sensors already in the vehicle will be sufficient to give me good data on those sensors. The last thing I was wondering about was the fact of spark plugs. Whats the best spark plugs available to us. Should I just stick with the stock plugs, or should i try to get something different?

Boost and vacuum are always on the same gauge. Eling's trio is a good call.

But you will not be able to use your factory sending units (sensors) because you can't re-calibrate the gauges to work with your stock pieces. You will need to use the ones that come with the gauges.

You might want to check the Greddy Infometer. I have never used it, but it is designed to display your stock sensor readings.

AEM not very good.

HKS is crap and provides erratic MAF signal.

INJEN is a good unit.

Had no problems with the one from buschur. Relatively inexpensive too.
