New guy here

Hello my name is Matt, I live in the boring state of Ohio. I just recently sold my 2005 Dodge SRT-4 and plan on buying a03-04 Evo VIII. I hated FWD , and want to go AWD. I joined this forum to learn about the Evolution VIII before I purchase one. So hopfully you guys can guide me in the right direction. Thanks

Your're at the right place. Once you get your evo you will quickly forget about it. Evo's are much easier to mod. Also more parts available. Welcome and good luck

Welcome Matt, ah that sucks, Ohio is boring (lived in Cleveland for a year...)

You will not regret your sell. I suggest finding a low mile, unmoddifed Evo VIII. Or a modifed one that you trust (i.e. done right, and is in great working order). There have been some horror stories of buys gone bad in the past.

You arnt too far from me here. Check out www.mievo.net (tell'em SmikeEvo sent you Lots of good guys/gal and I think a few low miles 8s for sale on there too.

Oh one more thing...and the 05s+ are better if you are going to be getting a stock VIII.

10.5 hotside, ACD (little stronger TC wise)...just some tweaks over the 03/04...
