Some dsm guys say this is a free mod.

Can I take out the restrictor pill near the solenoid and have some free power without getting a tune? Is it safe? how much would the boost pressure go up?

Um, it didnt go down in my car. I spose it might be because I reflashed it at the same time, but I got 25/25.5 psi peak tapering to 22ish. You definitely dont want to do this on a stock car with a stock map. That is beyond inviting disaster. Its like selling your soul to the devil to pay for his marriage to your daughter type of bad.

 

okay, cuz my old dsm guys said this was a free mod from them. Thanks, I know now that i shouldn't do it. 25 is way too much. I'll just hold off till I get a flash.

 

i wouldnt do that at all.. just get a mbc..
