finally ordered my Orbital 2-din kit...

can't wait to put in my navigation system. i'm lost without it.

and now i have to find a good solution that looks nice for my gauges

black grain...i don't like how the metallic just stands out in a all black dash...u know?

i just finished wiring my harness to the navi. harness so all i have to do tomorrow is plug and play and install the orbital....will post pics tomorrow too.

I like how the hvac is in black grain, although. For me, i like the metallic for the navi. Just curious, what brackets did you buy to mount the navi? im interested to see the pics. also how difficult was the install? did you use or buy any harness? or was it a plug and play from the navi to the vehicle? thanks

i bought a harness yesterday and did all the wiring for that already last night...now i just have to wait for the orbital (gets here at 3pm)

as for brackets, the navi came with a set of brackets so i'm hoping that would work.

ok i got done with the install last night...it was real easy but time consuming since I have metal rods in my back and can't get in the hard to reach places like under the dash easily...I will post pics in a few....so be ready

here are the photos of the finished project....

I managed to hide my XMnavtraffic box behind the glove box and the ipod box behind the dash between the double din and the glove box. Everything looks great and works!
