has anyone used it or seen it in real life it says real and is pretty cheap i almost want to buy it just to check it out but 250$ is quite a bit to get a peice of ****

It looks smaller than OEM wing. If you look at the car with the wing on it, it almost look like the short wing that use to come stock on the 03 Evo's.

 

if ya want a stock style all cf wing just find a used one off a 2003-2005 evo and strip the paint off the painted sections and toss a coat of clear over it

 

Wow, im gonna have to go with a NO on this one. It doesnt look right in any of the pictures. Not to mention, there isnt a picture of one actually on a real car. Just that photo chop, of it on an MR, which looks like it was done by my little sister in Microsoft paint.

Also, isnt the '06 spoiler not 100% carbon fiber. I know the '03-'05s are all carbon fiber with the sides painted to match, but i remember hearing the 2006 models are just carbon fiber on the top. I could be wrong though.

dont trust ebay sellers, you sometimes can get a damn good deal, and then theres the rest of those guys selling POS parts and what not.

 

The CF wing is for Lancer, NOT a evo !! if you look more closely in that ebay auction. since the Lancer and EVO are a bit differnt on the trunk lid, so it may need mod to fit on evo !!

 

I was under the impression that the only two "pieces" of sheet metal that the "stock" Lancer and the Evolution shared were the front door skins and the Trunk, Yes? ie no difference in the two trunk lids?

No go on the trunk... I have RalliArt and our trunks hang into the bumper. On Evo, they are nice and straight and sit flush with it. Plus, you guys have license plate on rear bumper while ours is on trunk.

 

I think it is the '01-'03 Lancer es etc. trunks that are the same as the Evo's...Once '04 hit, the lancer trunks are different, ie license plate in the trunk and "hangs down" into the bumper.

 

It is correct that the 02-03 lancer trunks and evo trunks switch and are the same, my b/f did a swap a few years back with an evo owner on this board to find out if it really did swap. As far as the 04 its a no g oon the swap due to the new trunk design..
