Fastgirl and reddog - Rolls and Morris are for restoration. Rolls hasn't run since about 1965, the Morris since the 1950's. Both are completely original but the Morris is badly rusted and the engine has seized. The Evo V is my usual driver. Well modded - in December 2002 she ran 337 bhp at 7000rpm and 318 ft/lb torque at 3800rpm on a rolling road test.The TVR Chimaera 5 litre V8 on before me ran 224 bhp. Since then the turbo's been changed to spool up quicker so peak torque feels around 3200-3300 and she pulls strongly past 7500 so she'd probably make 350bhp on the rollers now. Accelerates MUCH faster than my friend's 355 Ferarri.

Are your speed limits enforced? I was in British Columbia for a short break a few years ago and I was amazed to find a cop with a radar trap in the middle of nowhere - a deserted 6 lane freeway going to Whistler. Fortunately not speeding at the time!
