......really it was.
I hope you try and save some money before you go and **** it all away, although it sounds like you already have.......lol. Money is going to be pretty tight for the first couple of years, I'm not sure how you can afford an Evo and Insurance since your fresh out of boot camp. Anyway, just make sure you get some cash in the bank and then start doing a few basic mods.................full exhaust, MBC, and a flash. Good luck to you War Machine................

Errrrrrr!
All these damn jarheads
Sergeant Major Warrtalon
is right...
take your time ... for a PFC or LCpl, that can put a hurtibng on your pocket...esp insurance
enjoy the car as is for a while... get settled (well you probably wont... remember deployments)
Get used to a steady pay check... because it may fluctuate for a while.... take into account you may be deploying SOON!
Then the car may have to be sold SOON!
Take your time and enjoy
And good luck
I went MOD crazy on my skyline when I was a PFC in Japan, BUT I had a job on the side and ate ramen noodles for 6 months
I go MOD crazy right now with my EVO... but I can
So you can listen to the advice from the old jarheads .... but do what ever you want to do and good luck..

Even E-4 isn't enough to afford a new IX payment along with huge insurance, gas, mods, and maintenance without a warranty. Hopefully it works out. Btw, being prior service means nothing to us other than you chose the wrong service the first time. The good thing is you're in the right place now!
Regardless of who you were talking to, please do not ever make a comment like that. I guess you just got home from boot camp and don't understand how Marines act? Perhaps you were in the Chair Force and got used to the feel-good treatment and maids? Heh, hopefully not!
but from the way you talk you sound like a possible other then honorable to me
