I just got a 2003 Evo last week with 30,000 miles and all stock. I live in Sacramento, CA. Just wanted to say hi. I just got the boosted bug and added a turbo back 3 inch exhaust. It seemed to have lost a little low end torque but it seems to spool faster and gain horse power at full boost. There is no resonators on the exhaust so it seems a lot louder. Should I put the silencer on, but the silencer hole is really small, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a turbo back exhaust to gain horse power?

Does the silencer build more back pressure and reduce power?

 

Back pressure would help in the low end (around town just puttering around).

MBC, FP, and flash = to me. Now beer, I will drink that with a grin any day of the week. Beer drinking grin on my face with those mods.
