CF hood...any tips?

Hey guys,

Im thinking about getting a CF hood for my 06 GG IX MR, what do you guys think? Also, do you have a recommendation of which one to get and the place that makes the best quality CF hoods for the evo?

Thanks in advance.

I would be interested to know this also. Any fit better than others? I know the evodave trunk is supposed to fit perfect, but I havent heard of any hoods that have the same fitment.

As long as you're asking, I think it's a bad idea. Your MR is equipped with an aluminum hood that most likely weighs as little as the CF hood you may be considering. Some CF hoods weigh more than your stock hood.

to tell you the truth, unless you spend $1400+, your not getting a real carbon fibre hood. Most of the hoods on the market are fibreglass wraped in CF that accually weigh more than the OEM hood.
