Anyone have a exhaust shield?

I need a exhaust shield for my rear exhaust tip. Can someone post pictures and let me know where you got the bumper shield?

Thanks again,

Authority CF Heat Shield on my EVO VIII.

Double sided tape works good but the rivets are better IMO.

That carbon fiber is sharp. Where you get it, how much did it cost?

I realize the rivets work better for that carbon fiber piece, but how well does the double sided tape hold up to the weather? I dont really like drilling holes into stuff.

It will work for a while...same stuff your badges are held on with...but you will never get the tight seal. Eventually water pressure and detergent (soap when you wash your car) will weaken the adhesive, or you may just loose it all together.

If you are opposed to the rivets, try using two rivets on the underside of the bumper. That way, you have a backup if the adhesive fails and the holes you drilled will never be seen unless youre under the car.

I cant believe I burned the side of my bumper, near the exhaust tip. But dam those slanted exhaust tips looks awesome. I guess I will have to get some kind of shield.
