intake

is it true that a aftermarket intake is not that good on an evo IX unless u tuned it after?i waas thinking bout buying one but having second thought.

dude you should really search first there is a thread on intakes every other day

to answer your question...you do not want to run an aftermarket intake without a tune...nor do you need to the stock intake is a beast

Don't worry i'll save u .....
but get ready to be flamed cuz this has been discussed many times .....

YES intakes are bad for all Evos .. not just the IX ..
it will make ur car slower Rather than gain ......
and In order to have any gain from the Intake is to have a Tune ...

Lets put it this way. The stock air box is good up to 400 hp. Thats all you need.

no it wont ..

the loss is usually from the Aftermarket Metal Intake pipe ....

and the stock one is more than perfect ...
