I just noticed that I purchased 5w30 oil instead of 10w mobil 1 synth. Can i still get by? I live in northern CA the temp is brobaly in the high 60's and low 30 to 40's, thank you. I t will get colder in the next month, thank you. sorry for the newb Q

 

Take it back. Getting by is not the way to treat a new car.

yeah 5w30 is a little thin for cali heat i would say......im currentlt running 20w50
