I am in the military so I can get access to some cool spots that most cant. Gotta love it.
If anyone wants to see more pictures let me know. I have tons with ships and planes and all. I am huge into photograpghy.
Indeed I do know my stuff, I served aboard a T-AO based out of Norfolk. Try posting pics in the "off-topic, photography" forum. I'm sure it would be welcome, hell, I'd like to see them.
If it helps, I talked my dealer down on a few different Evos. The first was a standard MR. I told them I wanted to pay $34k for it. The price I got was $34,500 with the $500 educational discount (so $35k). I got my MR SE down to $35,200 with the same discount, which is just over invoice. I believe sticker was $37,600.
Try to look for a salesman that can relate to you, and just let them know that you plan to pay $xxx for the car. Be assertive and stick to your guns.
BTW, they are offering the $500 military discount right now.

Thanks for the heads up. The dealership is kind of annoying me. They have called me EVERY day since I was in there. I told them I cant do anything unless I sell my car and they keep telling me they will do a trade. And I explain again and again that I need to get $23,000 for my car to make it worth it. I wish you could just go into a dealership and get help without being hasseled.
The fact that they're calling either means you have a really aggressive salesman or a desperate dealership. If you don't get anywhere with them, try going out a bit farther. I'm in CT and ended up driving to DE to get my Evo, but that's just because there were none around when I wanted to buy. Moral of the story is: there are other dealerships. Try dealing with a couple and playing them off against each other.
My dealership was the same way in Scottsdale, AZ. I get the impression that selling an Evo is a big deal for them. They're most likely going to make a big comission off the down payment so I wouldn't be surprised that they're calling you all the time. I still have Lexus dealerships calling me...
Finally had to tel them not to call me again this morning. By 9am, I had gotten two phone calls today seeing if I was still interested. Yesterday I had 3 voicemails on my phone from the dealership.
