what to do with an evo engine&6 speed tranny

I have an engine&6 Speed tranny out of an 2005 Evo MR. What kind of car can this engine & tranny used. For all the smart a$$es other than an Evo. Really can I put this engine & tranny to a civic or like a CRX or something like that without to many modifications and cheap. It would be interesting to see a civic with the evo engine I think. Or something similar. Very limited budget project help guys.

I think for a project like what you are talking about you are looking at a couple of buckets of money to do it the right way. I think that you would be better off putting it in an oder eclipse gsx. The 4g63 does not belong in a ricer.

Yah doing one off projects will require more money than you are willing to spend. Cheapest car to put it into is an eclipse.

it wont go in an Eclipse of or DSm of any Year they 4g63s but are EVO 1-3 4G63s that sit on the oppsosite side of the engine bay/ car. Unless ur are a Pro at what ur doin it will cost u ALOT of MONEY to put that engine and trans in anything. And also the front diff is in the transfer case not the Trans like the DSMs so u also have to have the TC aswell. And some kinda Viscous Coupling Eliminator to not burn up the Center diff in the Trans making it FWD. EVO or DSM powered.

NONE bolt in. BUT with A$$ loads of many u could put it in anything, Like a F350 or a Porsche, Mirage whatever. But if any car is the easiest it would be a late model 90s Mirage. There are basically a base lancer but called a mirage instead of a Lancer. And yes I have seen in person a 2 door AWD Mirage With a EVO power plant and the AntiLag EGR int he Exhaust functioning./ So it can be done but that guy said he had 40K in it and ran 12.6 stock turbo.

that was an RB26DETT froma SKYLINE. Its already has a RWD style tranny in it like a Subie does so thats not hrad to make RWD unlike a FWD format EVO.

I say build a sandrail and put it in that. People have been using the Subie motors for years, but I've never seen a 4g63 powered one yet

I have seen pictures of a a mid 90's Honda Hatch with a full evo powertrain in it. It was a road race car or something, and was fast as hell
