if the dealership figures out you have a tune, yes it will void your warranty.

there are some tunes that can be detected by the mitsu tool, and there are some that are only detectable if they look at the values on the air/fuel table.

I was told by a rep, that pretty much, by the book, any modification to the factory equipment has the potential of voiding the factory warranty. So, you're pretty much risking it no matter what you do.

 

Go with an EFLASH. You have the cable and software to go back to your stock maps for dealer service. After you leave, you can reflash back to the modified maps before you even leave the dealer parking lot.
