that's how they are... get a mbc and flash and it'll hold steady at your desired boost setting

Well you have a leak or installed your boost hoses incorrectly (most likely)...You DO NOT NEED an MBC to hit 25+ psi....

Unless you get a tune that Intake is worthless and can make your car run like crap.

Different loads in different gears means boost will vary by a few PSI. I'm tuned for about 23-24psi peak but I usually don't see higher than 22.8psi during a third gear pull. It spikes and then tapers to about 18psi at redline.

Mine did the same thing when I was stock. There designed to do that. Get a MBC, it will hold the boost more consistantly. After 3rd, mine holds 1.5 all the way to redline... It will pull like a dif. car...

i've heard from some people that the car boost to what the conditions will allow being the air-fuel ratio the ecu is reading. so see what it does on a colder day it might boost more. my friend was having the same problem with his 9 i showed him how to install his boost guage and it worked fine till the weather warmed up then he thoguth he had a boost leak so he check all his clamps . there was no boost leak . it just wasnt seeing good air-fuel ratio's
